During the day, the
oil refinery by the water
puffs out steam clouds
like a Yellowstone geyser.
At night, its floodlit
pipes and metal towers
brighten the black skies
like meteor showers.
And as it powers
and pollutes this thirsty world,
it dazzles the senses...
like a double-edged sword.
